Building Tomorrow, Together

Over the last 18 years, GraceBuilt has grown from a backyard Bible study to a body of believers impacting the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. Not only has God provided His church a permanent facility central to our region, but He brings us hundreds of children and adults, near and far, to learn and live out the Bible together.  God is building His Church and blessing the Shenandoah Valley through GraceBuilt.

In response to God’s goodness, GraceBuilt is beginning a project called Building Tomorrow, Together to complete the renovations of our facility. The financial goal is to raise $400,000 the amount necessary to purchase the furnishings and equipment that will be used in our facility; for example sound system, projectors, seating, desks, kitchen equipment, and many others. Building Tomorrow, Together enhances five different features to help our ministry: Relationships, Safety, the Worship Experience, Online Resources and the Next Generation.

While finances are a component of this initiative, it is not our primary focus. Building Tomorrow, Together is about people loving and serving as we prepare for what is next.

Ministry Features

THIS MONTH’S FEATURED MINISTRY

Relationships

More than ever people need people. Christians attend church much less frequently than just a few years ago, making relationships that much harder to develop. But, through godly friendships and serving others, faith grows. There is no discipleship without relationship.

Safety

Growth happens best in safe environments. We value safety for everything from our church gatherings and public events to our daycare and kids ministries.

Online Resources

GraceBuilt helps those near and far learn and live out the Bible. Our online resources equip people who are sick, shut-in, traveling, or seeking Christ near and far.

We believe that kids are our most important ministry. We are future-focused because the future of the church is already here with the next generation.

Beginning a New Year

PHASE 1 QUOTE: We received a quote from our contractor that is a good fit for the church's needs.  Basically, the total construction cost for Phase 1 will be $1.1 Million. It will include a new auditorium with seating for 350, super clear audio and improved visibility, and theater seating to accomodate the sloped floor.  Outside, we will beautify the corner element of the building facing 250, repair exterior panels, and add corner signage.

LOBBY SPACE:  By moving into the new auditorium we will be able to use our current meeting space as a lobby.  This will helps mitigate distractions, allows for parents with small children a large space to listen to the service, or watch on TV's, and triples our flex- space for relationship-building. Remember, phase 1 doesn't include renovating the future lobby space-- the kitchen, new lighting, and new kids ministry entrance will be part of a later phase-- but the renovated area can be used as a lobby as soon as the new auditorium is completed.

FUNDING TOTALS: To begin phase 1 our goal is to raise $220,000 to pay for all furnishings and equipment.  Also, join us in praying for additional funds to cover resurfacing the parking lot and painting the building, roughly $120,000 in additional cost.  In 2023, God brought in $20,358.20 towards the Building Tomorrow Together initiative.  We thank God for bringing us one step closer.  Big things are in store for us this year!

Keep praying.  Keep telling others about Jesus.
