Inner City Mission Trip

Help GraceBuilt make a difference in the drug epidemic wreaking havoc across our region. Help us support our sister church Calvary Chapel of Kensington as they build a ministry base amidst the poverty, hunger, and devastating impact in the Philadelphia inner city. This overnight mission trip will clean up and organize their outreach facilities, and renovation projects for their School of Ministry.

What To Expect

Saturday we will break into groups to tackle various renovation, organization, or cleaning projects around the facility.  We will form groups to take advantage of each person’s abilities and also to help each person make a new friend.  There will also be time for morning devotions, and a tour of the ministry field. We will stay and eat on-site in their dormitory and kitchen with separate rooms for the genders with multiple bunk beds per room and showers.

Who

When & Where

• We will drive vans and carpool to Calvary Chapel Kensington (2755 Kensington Avenue
  Philadelphia, PA, 19134).  
• We leave GraceBuilt Church promptly at 5pm, October 4th. Please arrive 15 minutes early to the church parking lot.  We plan to return GraceBuilt at roughly 10pm, October 5th.

What To Bring

• A desire to serve God and His people.
• An overnight bag (towel, change of clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag, pillow.)
• Shoes appropriate for work.
• A Bible
• Food or fast food money for the drive up and the drive back. 
• If you have renovation skills feel free to bring a basic toolkit.

$0 - Lodging, meals, and transportation are provided free to all who RSVP by GraceBuilt, and our host church. If you would like to support this missions trip financially, thank you. Give here.
