The Reliability of God
This letter from the Apostle Peter was written to believers who've been displaced from their homes and surroundings. Peter writes to encourage and exhort them to remember that they are loved by God and He has set His love upon them. He writes to remind them, even though they've been displaced...they have been chosen by God by His Spirit to Salvation! Peter reminds them "they are loved by the unchanging love of God" and their 'guarantee in Christ' still stands!
