Learn to Live Like Every Day Is Your Last and Live As You Should

Of the many portraits of Jesus scripture paints, the one most rejected is the one most frequently given— Jesus the War Maker. The world is coming to an end, and He is coming to bring us to Heaven. Jesus is the Prince of Peace and the friend of sinners. He is merciful and gracious, all the things we love about Jesus are true, but listen, what is most needful is the most neglected. He is the author of all things, and the finisher. He started all things, And He has a right to start over. He is the promise keeper. And one of His most frequent promises— though we act like we never heard it— is that He will come back when the world least expects it. Why is it we ignore this promise?
