Why We Write Off Others | Bible Study 1 Corinthians 4

I’d like to talk today about Why We Write Off Other People. Did you know it is getting worse?
Here are some startling—yet all-too-real—stats on how friendships, marriages, and church connections are unraveling, and loneliness is getting worse. So you want to text an old friend or hug your spouse tighter.

In the early 1990s, 33% of Americans reported having 10 or more close friends. By 2021, that number had plunged to just 13%.
Gray divorces—those among couples aged 50 and up—have doubled since 1990.
Protestant congregations are only hovering around 85% of their pre-pandemic attendance levels.
A recent survey from The Roots Of Loneliness Project found that 85.8% of respondents struggled with loneliness in 2022—a 314% increase over pre-pandemic levels.

So, let’s dive into Corinthians 4 to discover how to stop the bleeding and begin to heal our relationships.
